It’s a white cabbage that looks more like a sheep than a plant. But they do have leaves that are very nice, edible and healthy. Try to buy one still wrapped in green. Steam the leaves and take a bite.

We all know the white one but they also come in purple, orange and green. The most mind-blowing, magic cauliflower is called Romanesco. With spiraling structures and hundreds of pyramids it looks like it comes from another world: 100% natural sci-fi-food.
Steam, cook, stir-fry or fry them with batter. When cooked, keep ‘m fork tender. Raw cauliflower is lovely to dip in some humus or homemade herbal mayonnaise.
WHAT MAKES CAULIFLOWER SPECIAL?
Since cauliflower doesn’t grow a label, here are some nutritional highlights: cauliflower is packed with vitamin C and a good share of vitamin K and B6. On top of that it contains natural anti-inflammation nutrients called glucoraphanin – stuff you won’t find in any factory food.
